Wijdemeren (population: 23,191) is a municipality in the north-western Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The
municipality covers an area of 139.55 kmē (of which 27.55 kmē
water).
The municipality of Wijdemeren consists the following towns, villages and townships: Ankeveen, Boomhoek, Breukeleveen, 's-Graveland, Kortenhoef, Muyeveld, Nederhorst den Berg,
Nieuw-Loosdrecht,
Oud-Loosdrecht.
