Wieringen (population: 8,398) is a municipality in the north-western Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The
municipality covers an area of 211.60 kmē (of which 185.11 kmē
water).
The municipality of Wieringen consists the following towns, villages and townships: Dam, De Haukes, De Hoelm, Den Oever, Hippolytushoef, Hollebalg, Noordburen, Oosterklief, Oosterland, Smerp, Stroe, Vatrop, Westerklief, Westerland.
