Shining Time Station is an American spinoff
of Thomas the Tank Engine and
Friends series, although Shining Time Station was co-created by Britt Allcroft. The series aired on PBS from 1989 to 1993, but returned in specials in 1995. (View Logo )
It is a railroad station located in the Indian Valley. The station master is
Stacy Jones and the engineers were Harry Cooper who later got replaced in by Billy Twofeathers .
There is also an arcade with a Jukebox. The owner of the arcade is the humoristic Schemer who likes to play tricks on
people.
An 18-inch conductor lives in a painting on the station wall. He goes to the Island of Sodor and tells stories about Thomas
the Tank Engine.
The kids who come to the station are Becky, Dan, Matt, Tanya and Kara.

In 1990, there was a Christmas special called Shining Time Station: 'Tis A Gift.
It was Starr's, last appearance on the series as Mr. Conductor but Lloyd
Bridges portrays Mr. Nicholas.
