Rock en español

Rock en Español is the latest generation of Spanish language rock and roll. Borrowing heavily from British and American rock and roll music and from popular music of Spanish-speaking cultures (cumbia, ranchera, rumba, tango, etc) Rock en Español has evolved from a cult-like music movement to a more well established music genre.

Today, rock en español includes bands from all over Latin America, France and Spain:

Also, there are artists like Enrique Bunbury, Gustavo Cerati, Julieta Venegas, Almendra, Pastilla, Fobia, Alejandra Guzman, Divididos, Porretas, Rosendo, Silvio, Bersuit Vergarabat, El Manjar de Los Dioses, Icaro Azul, Vivanativa, Niño Planeta, A.N.I.M.A.L., Los Superratones, Bohemia Suburbana, Lucybell, Charly Garcia, El Gran Silencio, El Otro Yo, Jumbo, La Gusana Ciega, Inspector, Caramelo de Cianuro, QBO, Kinky, Nonpoint, Brujeria, Manu Chao, Fito Paez, Malas Maña, Ongo, and Kapanga.
