RAI is an acronym for Radiotelevisione Italiana (translation - "Italian Radio and
Television"). It is the premier television network of Italy. It was founded on January 3, 1954. RAI has three channels, Raiuno, Raidue, and Raitre. The facilities are located near Rome.
