North East Lincolnshire is a unitary
authority in the north east of England, bordering onto North Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire. It was created on April 1, 1996 from the Humberside boroughs of Cleethorpes and Great Grimsby.
For ceremonial purposes it is treated as part of Lincolnshire, and it is
in the governmental region of Yorkshire and the
Humber.
