Ground Force is a BBC "lifestyle" television programme in which a team of
gardeners descend on some supposedly worthy individual's place and improve the garden for the cameras within two days. Ground
Force started in 1997.
Alan Titchmarsh hosted the programme between 1997 and 2002. In one episode he and his colleagues, Charlie Dimmock and Tommy Walsh, worked on the garden of
Nelson Mandela.
