Bernisse (population 12,736) is a municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The
municipality covers an area of 68.47 kmē (of which 12.35 kmē
water).
The municipality of Bernisse consists of the following towns, villages and townships: Abbenbroek, Biert, Geervliet, Heenvliet, Oudenhoorn, Simonshaven, Zuidland.
